ICDCN is a very high quality INTERNATIONAL Conference that blends distributed computing and networking. Hence ICDCN should be categorized as an "International" event as before. It also deserves "A" ranking. The committee structure, authors and participation have always been represented by researchers from all over the world. At ICDCN, the paper selection process is highly rigorous, and provides detailed feedback and review comments to the authors. The acceptance rate is also low. In addition to the technical sessions, top-notch keynote talks and panel discussions at the main conference, ICDCN also organizes Workshops on cutting-edge topics, Doctoral Symposium, Industry track, Poster and Demo session, etc. This allows young researchers including Ph.D. students, Postdoc scholars, and even undergraduate and graduate researchers to participate and interact with world-class researchers, network with peers, and be motivated. Additionally, authors of selected top papers from ICDCN are invited to submit extended versions for publication in Distributed Computing journal, and at Pervasive and Mobile Computing journal.

ICDCN is one of the top tier leading International conferences in the area of Distributed Computing and Networking. Most of the eminent scientists in the area of Distributed Computing and Networking around the globe used to submit and present their technical papers, deliver keynote addresses, tutorials, and belonging to the steering committee, the technical program committee of the conference. There is a rigorous review process for the conference. High-quality reviews and papers, well recognized. The Paper acceptance rate is also quite low. This conference deserves an "A" ranking. The venue of the conference is not limited to India, it was held in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan. Like earlier, it must be categorized as an international conference (NOT Rank: National: India).

ICDCN is an INTERNATIONAL conference (not only Indian, mistakenly) in the area of Distributed Computing and Networking. Recently, the quality of the published ICDCN papers is significantly improved, the number of accepted papers is low compared to the number of submitted ones, and hence it deserves "A" grade (to me).

ICDCN is a reputed International conference catering to both Distributed Computing and Networking for two decades. Just take a look at the program committees, keynote speakers, steering committee, and strict review standards. ICDCN has routinely created a platform for young researchers, including PhD students, postdocs, and graduate researchers, to interact with world-class researchers, and network with peers. From time to time the venue has moved to countries outside India. I don't see a single reason why the ranking would change from B to "National" -- to be credible, it should be tagged as International and its ranking should move up to "A"

ICDCN is undoubatedly an International Conference as it is evidentby by the Committee members, papers accepted, and even the recent venues. It has catered to and always attracted particpants internationally. The ranking which mentions it as "Nationanl:India" is errorneous.

This is an international conference, not a national conference. The organization, the submissions, the attendees: all international. While the conference has been in India often, it is now often in another country. If there was no Covid, it would had been in Japan in 2020. Why this conference gets the label "national" all of a sudden is beyond my understanding.

The conference has served well in integrating the two related communities of distributed computing and computer networks. Papers from ICDCN routinely get accepted into reputed journals. Many of these works attract significant follow-up work and end up with very good citation counts. At the very least, I strongly feel that this conference must be rated International conference. Let me justify this based on CORE's definition of a national conference quoted here: "National/regional conferences are defined as conferences held in a single country (or a small group of countries), with a Chair from that country, and possibly organised by a national/regional body. National conferences often include international academics on committees and papers from international authors." ICDCN has been held in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan. Its Steering committee is largely international (Italy (1), USA (4), India(2), France (1), Israel (1)). The PC (both chairs and members over the years) are largely international. It is not organized by a national/regional body within India. To sum this up, I strongly feel that ICDCN should be considered International.
