Requirements Engineering Conference is the premier International conference dedicated to research, practice, and training of this sub-discipline of software and system engineering. The conference is well established in the academic research community as well as industrial research and development. Every year it attracts the top scholars and well known practitioners as well as PhD students and early career researchers. The quality of the papers published and the quality of reviews are among the top conferences in the world.

Requirements are essential to successful system/software development. The IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference (RE) is the topmost event in the field. Each year, this week-long event attracts hundreds of academics and practitioners from around the world, and is accompanied by about a dozen workshops, many tutorials, and a doctoral symposium. The program committees are composed of extremely qualified scholars, who use a very rigorous selection process with informative feedback. The RE community is also very open to new application and research areas, and does very well in terms of equity, diversity, and inclusion; I believe it likely is the software/systems-related conference with the highest proportion of female organizers and participants. The papers published at RE are top-notch, attract many citations, and have a real societal impact. The participants are a mix of experienced researchers/practitioners and newer ones, who learn from each other through many activities that aim to promote networking and constructive feedback. A truly outstanding event that you are encouraged to consider!

Too often requirements -- or what a system is supposed to do to support stakeholder needs -- are overlooked, misunderstood or outdated, and this is because the steps to acquire, analyze and document requirements are challenging. The IEEE Requirements Engineering Conference is a community that brings together both industry and government practitioners and academics to explore ways to better manage requirements, including the discovery of new methods and tools. Thirty year history of the RE conference is a testament to its successful formula in sustaining this community and educating the future generations of practitioners and researchers alike.

Requirements Engineering (RE) conference is the premier venue for publication and networking for academics and practitioners in the field of RE. It is one of the most open & welcoming communities, and has had an amazing impact on improving the quality of numerous software systems. It embraces all the new technological developments, e.g., AI, IoT and Blockchain in the recent years, and has added value to adoption of all these emerging technologies.

The IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference (RE) truly is the premier conference in the field. The careful and rigorous paper selection process, which the conference has established and maintained over three decades, make the RE conference an A+ publication venue. Submitted papers are reviewed and discussed by at least three highly qualified members of the program committee. The average quality of their reviews is on par with reviews written for A+ journal submissions. At the same time, the conference has an open and welcoming spirit for new attendees, offering a variety of options to contribute and discuss ideas, results and experiences. As the top people in the field of Requirements Engineering regularly attend the conference, attending RE for discussing and networking is worthwhile for both senior and junior scholars in the field. Attending is equally worthwhile for people from industry who are interested in latest results and where the field is heading to.

The conference is of exceptional quality, and an excellent example of industry-informed research as well as research that may shape industrial RE practice well into the future. Participants include many of the leading researchers in the field as well as junior researchers, graduate students, and industrial practitioners. The community of regular conference participants creates a welcoming atmosphere where breadth of participation is encouraged, transcending professional lines. Paper and presentation selection is rigorous for all tracks, with strong reviews and discussions ensuring quality content. As a senior RE leader and practitioner in industry, I find the International IEEE RE conference to be the very best professional development available, with insights gained from the weeklong conference supported by ready access to the community over the rest of the year as well. Ample time and opportunities for networking enable participants to build strong connections that persist beyond the event itself.

30 years after its first edition, this venerable conference continues to lead the way in terms of intellectual and practical innovation in the field. It attracts the best researchers in the area, publishes the best work, and is a magnet for practitioners looking for new ideas, best practices, and collaborators to work with and learn from. It is also a hospitable and inspiring venue for newcomers, students, and visitors from other disciplines, who often make it their second home. A truly multi- and inter-disciplinary venue, years before such things became fashionable! 5 stars across the board!
