Despite its name, CSR is actually an international conference following the strongest refereeing standards. Almost all contributed talks are made by non-Russian participants, and invited talks are always given by outstanding researchers including distinguished lectures (Stephen Cook, Yuri Gurevich, Christos Papadimitriou, Andrew Yao and others). Compared to other Theory conferences it certainly deserves at least a "B" (perhaps, "A") degree.

This conference sees many nice papers that I have found really interesting, coming from authors across the world. The atmosphere at the conference itself, on the occasions when I attended it, was very congenial. I have received good feedback from the PC on my submissions in the past.
