I have been a regular participant in the REFSQ working conference for more than ten years. Overall high quality. In particular, I found REFSQ a place for interaction and discussion with researchers and industry representatives, which foster the emergence of new research ideas and collaborations. On the basis of my experience, very good for younger researchers and PhD students.

This conference has a very welcoming community, always lively discussions and much constructive feedback and even more genuine curiosity. The discussion culture is built into the structure of the program with ample room for conversation on each presented contribution including assigned discussants. I have attended at least five times and highly recommend it. The community makes a dedicated effort to make early career researchers feel welcome and be part of everything, and the networking has always led to good ideas and interesting connections for me.

After almost 30 years of existence, REFSQ has become a yearly meeting point for the requirements engineering community. It makes a great work in combining scientific excellence, with a rigorous paper evaluation process, and community-building, through innovative actions and tracks. It is particularly welcoming for young researchers. Industry participants have a dedicated industry day where they can share with the community industry practices in requirements engineering.
