Sorry, but I don't see why this conference is an A. It generates plenty of citations, but it has an acceptance rate of >50%. In 2012, the rate was >60%. Maybe I'm missing something, but getting a paper in here sounds like a bit of a pushover.

While I understand the comments regarding the 2014 edition, they no longer apply. Currently, CEC is clearly a Rank A conference. Cleary among the TOP 3 evolutionary computation conferences (the other two being GECCO and PPSN)
