I have been an OzCHI attendee since 2010, and attended it once every other year. It is a close-knit, welcoming, and diverse community that shines a beautiful light on the Australian HCI frontier. Strongly recommend this conference to anyone both new and experienced.

OzCHI is a wonderful conference for HCI academics and UX professionals. Papers are usually published in the ACM Digital Library, the major venue for HCI publications. We are continually working on improving the review and feedback process. Most importantly, despite OzCHI being the Australian HCI community conference, it is a truly international conference: in 2020, the majority of accepted papers were from outside Australia (35 out of 61); reviewers come from all over the world; all 3 keynote speakers were from overseas. We have also been lucky that a few prestiguous CHI academy members regularly visit Australia to collaborate on research and to attend OzCHI.

OzCHI is a truly inclusive space that brings together high quality HCI researchers not only from Australia but also from all around the world with a dedicated international following. Review qualities are high, programs are diverse and inclusive of many post-graduate students, and there is a culture of fruitful discussion on current HCI matters that facilitates networking. I have beena devoted attendee since 2015.

OZCHI is the primary annual conference for the Australian HCI community to come together, share research and practice, learn from each other, and network. It is a very welcoming, friendly community, where we seek to support and mentor our phd and emerging researchers, and connect them with established and senior researchers. The bridge between academia and industry is nurtured. Industry has always played a role, with industry keynotes, papers and panels. The conference also attracts international researchers, with the keynote speakers for the 2020 edition representing pioneering HCI research and allied disciplines like cultural anthropology.

I have been taking part in OzCHI since 2011 and can attest to its very high quality as the premier academic venue for Human-Computer Interaction in Australia, and one of the finest in the world. The conference is a reference event in the HCI calendar worldwide, with a growing number of participants and increasing appeal not only to researchers but also industry in Australia and elsewhere.

this conference has a rigorous double blind review process, with conditional and shepherded acceptance. It has a strong international audience and contributors - and is highly regarded in the field, as attested to be the keynotes this year, including top HCI academic Professor Ben Shneiderman.

OzCHI has over the last decade and a half developed itself from a regional to an international conference of high standard at a level that matches other general conferences in HCI. Proceedings are published by ACM, and there is consistently a rigorous double blind review process, with an international team of reviewers, and an international program committee. This means that accepted papers are of high international standard, which is also evidenced by the high number of citations of papers published at OzCHI.

Excellent conference that is attractive to researcheres on the international scene. I've very much enjoyed every OzCHI I have participated in not only for the people attending, but also for the quality of research.
