This is one of the most important conferences for affective computing, especially emotion recognition. Papers presented at ACII have a high impact on the field.

ACII 2021 was the first ACII I attended. It was well organized, tutorials were insightful. Regular talks showed me a new perspective on many subjects, and gave me new ideas for research. During poster sessions and social events I had many interesting conversations and made some new contacts. Everyone was welcoming and open to discussion. Overall the conference is well worth attending.
