I have been involved in WoWMoM as an attendee, a presenting author, or a member of the TPC/organising committees regularly for 10+ years. I have been very happy all along in all roles: the conference is very open and participation includes a balanced mix of junior and senior researchers in the broad area of wireless networking. WoWMoM is one of the top conferences in wireless networking. I have been involved with WoWMoM in various roles in the past decade. I have found its community of top people from academia to be very welcoming to newcomers, as long as the work they are willing to do ensures that the quality of the conference, including accepted papers and feedback for rejected papers, remains very high.
