The current information needs to be updated. SIGGRAPH Asia is a premier international conference in Computer Graphics. Accepted technical papers are published to ACM Transactions to Graphics (Ranked A*), the acceptance rate is around 20%, and the review process is similar to SIGGRAPH. I suggest ranking it as similar as SIGGRAPH.

Rating:

This conference is welcoming to new attendees such as postgraduate students:
Referees for this conference provide high quality detailed feedback:
The conference program facilitates networking:
There is a culture of interaction and feedback following presentations:
The conference is routinely attended by top people in the area:
Overall, attending this conference is worthwhile:

This is NOT an "Australasian" conference. It is a world-wide conference. It is one of the three top conferences in computer graphics (the other two are SIGGRAPH and Eurographics). All papers are reviewed by at least four experts and all accepted papers are published in a special edition of the top-rank journal ACM Transactions on Graphics. added 2017-07-03 I cannot believe that CORE has graded this as a B and linked it to Graphite. These are both wrong. SIGGRAPH Asia was set up as a new conference with the aim of becoming as prestigious as the A* SIGGRAPH conference. There is no link to the Australasian Graphite conference

I also agree with the above. It is definitely an A* conference! updated: 2017-03-25 wow, it has now been downgraded to B -- Core is completely messing things up!! It is definitely A*. Also, I don't think there is a relationship with the Graphite conference. This needs to be updated. updated: 2020-12-18 I can't believe it is still not A* after years of discussions here. It is now "journal published". Guess what ? Siggraph is *also* published in the same journal (ACM Trans. on Graphics) and has been ranked A*. In fact, many computer graphics conferences publish their proceedings in a journal (e.g., Eurographics and its symposia and Pacific Graphics publish in Computer Graphics Forum, CAD/Graphics publishes in Computer&Graphics, Computer Graphics International publishes in The Visual Computer, etc. etc.). They still receive a meaningful ranking and are not just ranked "journal published" (well, apart from Eurographics that disappeared completely from your site this year although it is a top conference in computer graphics as well :face_palm:). If you start using "journal publish", you could remove most computer graphics conferences from conf-ranks.

It's not right that SIGGRAPH Asia doesn't have a ranking similar to SIGGRAPH.
