This is considered one of the best journals in AI. It is hard to believe in its current ranking in the CORE. A* rank should be the case.

This journal has got high metric (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/applied-soft-computing). Also, it has been ranked as a top journal in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation and Fuzzy Systems. It should be ranked as A*.

Google Scholar has this at No. 1 for evolutionary computing. Why are you listing this for Applied Mathematics or Image processing?
It has some good publications in its domain (soft or evolutionary computing) and in that domain, needs to be upgraded to A if not A*.
